Abstract:

Disclosed is a method for producing a highly reliable ceramic sheet having a stable quality by reducing voids. Also disclosed is a ceramic substrate using a ceramic sheet obtained by such a method. A highly reliable ceramic sheet having a stable quality can be obtained by using hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose as an organic binder, and forming a raw material into a sheet using a single screw molding machine mounted with a sheet die preferably after kneading the raw material by using a twin screw extruder. The ceramic sheet can be suitably used for ceramic substrates and ceramic circuit boards.
