Abstract:

The present invention relates to a method for producing a coal briquette, and a coal briquette produced by the method, the method comprising the steps of: preparing base materials comprising pulverized coal and dextrin; producing a mixture by mixing the base materials; aging the mixture; and molding the aged mixture to produce a coal briquette, wherein a generation of a low melting point compound is suppressed while molten iron is produced, such that damage to facilities caused by a deposit can be prevented.
