Abstract:
Provided is a production method for obtaining a coated article with a coating film having excellent weather resistance using a powder coating material. A method for producing a coated article in which a powder coating material including a fluorine resin (A), non-fluorine resin (B), and metallic pigment (C) is applied to the surface of a base material, and a coating film is formed on the base material surface by cooling after heating the base material with the powder coating material applied to a temperature of or above the glass transition temperature of the fluorine resin (A) and the non-fluorine resin (B), the method for producing a coated article being characterized in that the content of the metallic pigment (C) is 0.7-23 mass% relative to the total weight of the powder coating material, the PCI value of the coating film is 6 or higher, and the flip-flop value is 1.2 or higher.
