Abstract:
A method for producing a composition for metal film formation, which comprises: a step for preparing a reactor that is provided with a pair of electrolyte solution cells connected to each other via a flow path that is provided with a filter through which hydrogen ions permeate but metal ions do not permeate; a step for having an electrolyte solution retained in the pair of electrolyte solution cells, arranging metal electrodes at positions where the electrodes are at least partially in contact with the electrolyte solution, and connecting the electrodes to each other via a direct-current power supply; and a step for obtaining a metal precursor by causing a reaction between the electrolyte solution and metal ions within the electrolyte solution cell where the electrode serving as a positive electrode is immersed by applying a voltage between the pair of electrodes by means of the direct-current power supply. The present invention also provides the applications of this method for producing a composition for metal film formation.
