Abstract:
In order to address the problem of establishing a method for recovering coumaramide obtained by treating cellulosic biomass using an ammonia-containing treatment agent, this method for producing coumaramide is characterized by including: a pre-treatment step for obtaining ammonia-treated biomass by treating cellulosic biomass using an ammonia-containing treatment agent; an extraction step for immersing the ammonia-treated biomass into a solvent containing at least water, and obtaining a coumaramide solution by eluting the coumaramide present in the ammonia-treated biomass in the solvent; and a crystallization step for obtaining a coumaramide crystal by precipitating the coumaramide in the coumaramide solution as a crystal.
