Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for producing cultured turf, wherein said method comprises the following steps: preparing a soil mixture; maintaining the mixture in steam conditions; compacting the mixture; watering the mixture; adding fertilisers; weeding the mixture; levelling the surface; preparing the seeds; sowing the seeds; watering again; sowing some more seeds; mowing the grass; and transporting and applying the turf in the desired locus. This method is characterised in that after it is prepared, the soil mixture is sifted, mixed and loaded in containers made of wood, metal or plastic. The containers are provided with openings of various shapes which are formed in the side walls and in the bottom of said containers. This method can also use containers made of a water- and air-permissive material for draining the water out of said containers and for ventilating the turf. When used on building yards, these containers may include a disposable or non-disposable bottom as well as throw-away or removable side walls or side walls having a throw-away upper section.
