Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for producing a cyclopropane carboxylic acid compound represented by Formula (VI), which is characterized in that a compound represented by Formula (V) and an alkali metal borohydride compound are reacted in the presence of a solvent. (In Formula (V), R represents a chain hydrocarbon group having 1-10 carbon atoms or the like; and R1 represents a chain hydrocarbon group having 1-10 carbon atoms which may be substituted by a halogen atom, or the like.) (In Formula (VI), R is as defined above.)
