Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing a novel diolefin compound that is useful as a raw material of a diepoxy compound capable of forming a cured article having excellent thermal properties. This method for producing a diolefin compound obtains a diolefin compound represented by formula (3) by reacting a compound represented by formula (1) and a compound represented by formula (2). In the formulas, R1-R22 represent a hydrogen atom, methyl group, or ethyl group; X represents a chlorine atom, bromine atom, iodine atom, benzenesulfonyloxy group, p-toluenesulfonyloxy group, methanesulfonyloxy group, or trifluoromethanesulfonyloxy group; and Y represents a chlorine atom, bromine atom, or iodine atom.
