Abstract:
In the present invention, when 2,2-dimethyl-3-((Z)-1-propenyl)cyclopropane carboxylic acid methyl and [4-(methoxymethyl)-2,3,5,6-tetrafluorophenyl]methanol are reacted in an organic solvent in the presence of lithium methoxide to produce [4-(methoxymethyl)-2,3,5,6-tetafluorophenyl]methyl 2,2-dimethyl-3-((Z)-1-propenyl)cyclopropane carboxylate, a mixture of an organic solvent, 2,2-dimethyl-3-((Z)-1-propenyl)cyclopropane carboxylic acid methyl, and [4-(methoxymethyl)-2,3,5,6-tetrafluorophenyl]methanol is washed with a bisulfite aqueous solution and subsequently lithium methoxide is added for reaction. By this method, a target substance can be produced with the generation of impurities being suppressed.
