METHOD FOR PRODUCING EXOSOMES WITH ENHANCED ANTIVIRAL ACTIVITY AND APPLICATION THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/027403
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for producing exosomes with enhanced antiviral activity, comprising a step of culturing cells in a medium including interferon-α, or a combination of interferon-α and interferon-β. According to the present invention, exosomes with enhanced antiviral activity can be provided, and there can be provided: a pharmaceutical composition effective in the prevention, alleviation or treatment of viral infection; and a pharmaceutical composition for the prevention, suppression, alleviation, amelioration or treatment of diseases caused by viral infection, for example, sore throat, bronchitis, pneumonia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, acute respiratory distress syndrome, and/or other respiratory system-related diseases, the compositions using the exosomes.
