Abstract:
The present invention relates to different embodiments of a method for producing fermented beverages comprising a step of mixing (1) a germinated, malted particulate material of plant origin, water and a carbohydrate, and subsequently performing a step of cooking (2) said mixture and a step of fermentation (3). The methods also comprise steps of adding additives (4), separating solids (5), heat treatment (7) and cooling (8), which steps can be carried out in varied sequences according to the different embodiments of the invention. The present invention also relates to the fermented beverages obtained using the different embodiments of the method for preparing the beverages. The production method of the invention favours the preparation of fermented beverages that are standardized and stable in terms of shelf-life.
