Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to produce ferro coke which can have improved reactivity while maintaining the strength thereof or ferro coke which can have improved strength while maintaining the reactivity thereof.
A method for producing ferro coke, comprising mixing coal with an iron raw material to produce a raw material mixture, molding the raw material mixture, and carbonizing the molded product, wherein the iron raw material is a return ore that contains granules each having a diameter of 0.5 mm or less in an amount of 25 to 80% by mass.
