Abstract:

Provided is a method for producing a fluorine-containing polymer, which uses a specific non-fluorinated compound that has surface active power, and wherein the polymerization rate is high and adhesion of a polymerization product does not easily occur. The method for producing a fluorine-containing polymer is characterized in that a fluoroolefin is subjected to aqueous dispersion polymerization in the presence of a compound (1) that is represented by formula (1) (wherein R1 and R2 may be the same or different and each represents a non-fluorinated saturated hydrocarbon group having 4-12 carbon atoms; and M represents an alkali metal, an ammonium salt or an amine salt).
