Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a method for producing an α-fluoroacrylic acid ester at a high yield using a small amount of potassium fluoride or the like. The problem can be solved by a method which involves a compound represented by formula (2) (wherein R1 and R2 are the same or different and are each an alkyl group), wherein fluorine ions or the like are used in an amount of less than 0.2 mol per mol of the compound represented by formula (2).
