Title:
METHOD FOR PRODUCING HOT-FORGED MEMBER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/037667
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing a hot-forged member that enables efficient hot forging while preventing defects such as cracks even when a hard-to-work alloy is used as the hot-forging material. This method for producing a hot-forged member includes a heating step in which an unheated material to be subjected to hot-forging is heated to a hot-forging temperature in a heating furnace, a heat-resistant insulation material bonding step in which a heat-resistant insulation material is bonded to at least a portion of the forging material surface removed from the heating furnace, thereby forming a hot-forging material, and a hot-forging step in which any of a mold, an anvil, and a tool is used to compress all or a portion of the hot-forging material into a prescribed shape, and includes a glass lubricant coating step in which at least the portion of the surface of the unheated material to which the heat-resistant insulation material has been bonded is coated with a glass lubricant, wherein the glass lubricant has a viscosity of 102-107 Pa·s in the heat-resistant insulation material bonding step.
