Abstract:
A method for producing hydrotreated oil provided with a step for obtaining hydrotreated oil by passing heavy hydrocarbon oil through a reactor packed with a hydrotreating catalyst, the hydrotreating catalyst containing phosphorus, an iron group element, and a group 6 element; the ratio C2/C1 of the content of iron group element C2 to the content of phosphorus C1 being less than 0.60 by molar ratio; and the average pore size of the hydrotreating catalyst being larger than 7.5 nm and smaller than 9.5 nm.
