Abstract:
In a method for producing an indium carboxylate according to the present invention, a product is obtained by reacting a hydroxyl group-containing indium carboxylate represented by formula (1): In(RCOO)3-x(OH)x (in the formula, R is a linear or branched aliphatic group having 0-5 carbon atoms, and x is a number greater than 0 and less than 3) with a lower carboxylic acid represented by formula (2): R'COOH (in the formula, R1 is a hydrogen atom or a linear or branched aliphatic group having 1-5 carbon atoms, and the hydrogen atom in the aliphatic group may be substituted with a halogen atom), and then the product is reacted with a higher carboxylic acid having at least 12 carbon atoms.
