Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an interdental cleaning tool that is capable of minimizing the incidence of underfilling of elastomer in spaces in the periphery of a shaft part in a step for filling a mold with elastomer. [Solution] A method for producing an interdental cleaning tool, wherein the method comprises: a first step for molding a base part having a handle part and a shaft part (40), by filling a first mold with a composite material; and a second step for forming a cleaning part, an anti-slip part, and a linking part by filling elastomer from the tip-end-part side of the shaft part (40) into a second mold (200), which has second spaces in which it is possible to form the cleaning part, the anti-slip part, and the linking part, once the base part has been disposed inside the second mold (200). In the second step, the mold used as the second mold (200) is one in which the ratio of the elastomer flow passage area in the second space around the tip end part of the handle part relative to the elastomer flow passage area in the second space around the base end part of the shaft part (40) is at least 40%.
