Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a method for producing intestinal endocrine cells using gut stem cells induced from pluripotent stem cells; a method for analyzing a disease mechanism; a method for evaluating an anaylte; a therapeutic agent screening method for digestive disorders; pluripotent stem cell-derived intestinal endocrine cells; a medium or a medium kit; and a kit for producing intestinal endocrine cells. The present invention provides a method for producing intestinal endocrine cells, the method including culturing gut stem cells or gut epidermal cells induced from pluripotent stem cells using a culture medium that does not substantially include a ligand of epidermal growth factor receptor but includes a cAMP activating agent and a DNA methyl transferase inhibitor.
