Abstract:
The inventive method for producing latticed structures consists in forming a blank from elements (rods, spiral turns, closed rings) which are disposed back to back in a parallel position to each other, arc welding said elements in shielding gas by locally disposed weld seams having a specified length at specified points which define the design of a lattice and strength of the joints of elements and in subsequently stretching said lattice with a required stretch factor. Prior to stretching, the welded blank can be bent in a direction perpendicular in relation to the disposed rods, for example by roll forging; after stretching the lattice can be bent in such a way that it is double curved. In order to produce the lattice structure having a complex shape, it is possible to use subsidiary elements which limit the stretch factor on the specified parts of the structure. The inventive device for the automated production of various flat and three- dimensional blanks for various lattice structures (fencing, pillars and other small architectural forms) is also disclosed. Said device makes it possible to produce folded products, thereby reducing a required manufacturing area, to facilitate the storage and transportation of said products and irreversibly unfold them dispensing with the pre-verification of the dimensions thereof. Said invention makes it possible to avoid the use of transversal binding elements.
