Abstract:
With respect to poorly soluble cystine, the present invention addresses the problem of providing: a method for producing a powder which exhibits excellent solubility and in which liquid properties are neutral (pH 6.0-8.5) when the powder is dissolved in water; a powder; and a powder culture medium containing same. This method for producing a mixed powder comprises: a dissolution step in which cystine and at least one type of specific component selected from the group consisting of tryptophan, threonine and serine are dissolved in a solvent to obtain a solution containing cystine and the specific component; and a powder formation step in which the solution is dried to obtain a mixed powder of cystine and the specific component.
