Abstract:
According to the present invention, a modified conjugated diene polymer is produced by a method wherein a conjugated diene polymer having an active end, which is obtained by polymerizing a monomer that contains a conjugated diene compound in the presence of an alkali metal compound, and a compound (A) represented by formula (1) are reacted with each other. In formula (1), each of R1 and R2 represents a hydrocarbyl group having 1-8 carbon atoms, or the like; each of R5 and R6 represents a hydrocarbyl group having 1-8 carbon atoms, or the like; each of R3 and R4 represents a hydrocarbylene group having 1-6 carbon atom; R7 represents a hydrocarbylene group having 1-10 carbon atom; X1 represents a hydrocarbyloxy group having 1-4 carbon atoms; each of X2 and X3 represents a hydrocarbyl group having 1-4 carbon atoms or a hydrocarbyloxy group; and m represents an integer of 1-3.
