Abstract:
The invention relates to the production of mosaic articles made of natural linoleum, PVC-based materials, plastic materials, carpet floor coatings, parquet, laminate, natural and synthetic stones, various fabrics etc. The inventive method for producing a mosaic article consists in forming the external contour of a mosaic pattern on a fond material, producing mosaic elements with the aid of a laser beam and subsequently connecting said elements to a base material. The external contour of the mosaic pattern and the mosaic elements are produced with the aid of a focused laser beam associated with the adequate correction of the dimensions of said contour with respect to the real width of the cut of the used material by the laser beam. The total value of said correction is equal to the diameter of the focal spot of the laser beam, the correction of each contour or the part thereof is directed towards an adjacent contour of the part thereof. Said value can be increased for individual materials.
