Abstract:
This method for producing an optical material comprises: a step for mixing a resin monomer for the optical material and an additive to prepare a polymerizable composition for the optical material, the polymerizable composition having a hue in which L* is 70 or more and b* is -30 to 10 inclusive in a CIE1976 (L*, a*, b*) color space when measured at a thickness of 10 mm; and a step for polymerizing and curing the polymerizable composition for the optical material.
