Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for industrially producing compound (1) and compound (4) to provide an important intermediate for producing an FXa inhibitor. Specifically disclosed is a production method characterized by comprising: a first step of adding a quaternary ammonium salt and a metal azide salt to water to give an aqueous solution of an azide reagent complex comprising the quaternary ammonium salt- the metal azide salt, and then dehydrating said aqueous solution using an aromatic hydrocarbon-based solvent to thereby give a liquid mixture of the azide reagent complex comprising the quaternary ammonium salt-the metal azide salt with the aromatic hydrocarbon-based solvent having a moisture content less than or equal to 0.2%; and a second step of adding compound (2) (wherein L represents a leaving group) to the liquid mixture prepared in the aforesaid first step.
