Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for producing a packaging bag comprising a bag body that includes a pair of body sheets and side-gusset sheets each being folded in two between the pair of body sheets, and a spout that is attached to an upper end part of the bag body, the packaging bag having an upper end point-seal part where the body sheets are joined together at an upper notch part provided at an upper end part of each of the pair of side-gusset sheets, the method comprising: a bag body forming step for forming the bag body by forming side seal parts and a bottom seal part; and a spout attachment step. The spout attachment step involves: a spout insertion step for inserting the spout between the pair of body sheets; and a top seal step for forming a top seal part by joining the spout in a state where the same is sandwiched between the pair of body sheets. The upper notch part is formed in a location that is not joined in the side seal step, and the upper end point-seal part is formed in the top seal step.
