Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a method that is for producing paper and that is able to increase the efficiency of producing high quality paper. The method for producing paper has a step that, in the water system of a paper making system (10) that makes paper from paper starting materials, measures at least two water quality parameters relating to water quality and performs water treatment on the basis of the measured values in parallel with the operation of the paper making system (10). The water quality parameters preferably are selected from the group consisting of oxidation-reduction potential, the amount of glucose, the amount of organic acids, pH, the amount of calcium ions, electrical conductivity, turbidity, the cation requirement amount, temperature, the degree of foaming, COD, BOD, the amount of dissolved oxygen, the amount of starch, the amount of residual chlorine, and respiration rate.
