Abstract:
Provided are: a method for producing pellets capable of forming an ion exchange film having excellent electrolysis voltage stability; pellets; and an ion exchange film. In this method for producing pellets, a melt including a fluorine-containing polymer having a group convertible to an ion-exchange group is extruded from a dice of a melt extruder to obtain a strand containing the fluorine-containing polymer; subsequently, the strand is cut to obtain pellets including the fluorine-containing polymer. When the melt containing the fluorine-containing polymer is extruded from the dice, the temperature of the dice is less than 200°C. The ion exchange capacity of the fluorine-containing polymer is not less than 1.1 meq/g resin when the group convertible to an ion exchange group in the fluorine-containing polymer is converted to an ion exchange group.
