Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for producing a peptide containing an N-alkyl amino acid, the method comprising the following steps (1) to (3). Step (1): Mix an N-terminus protected amino acid or an N-terminus protected peptide with a carboxylic acid halide or a halogenated alkyl formate; step (2): mix an amino acid or peptide, in which the N-terminus and C-terminus are not protected, with a trialkyl silylating agent; and step (3): mix the product obtained in step (1) with the product obtained in step (2).
