Abstract:
The present invention provides a high-quality polyacetal copolymer by means of a simple process and in an economical manner. The present invention includes: a starting material supply step for supplying a starting material including trioxane or the like to a reaction device (1); a polymerization reaction step for obtaining a reaction mixture by performing a polymerization reaction of the starting material in the state of an axis of revolution being inclined from the introduction opening (2) towards a polyacetal copolymer recovery section (5) 1-6° upwards with respect to the horizontal direction (H); an unreacted monomer re-supply step for vaporizing/separating unreacted monomers from the reaction mixture by means of a vaporizing/separating unit (4), and resupplying the unreacted monomers to the reaction device (1); and a polyacetal copolymer recovery step that recovers the polyacetal copolymer from the reaction mixture by means of a polyacetal copolymer recovery unit (5). As a result, the weight ratio D/C of the polyacetal copolymer (D) with respect to the total supplied monomers (C), which is stipulated as the sum of monomers (A) newly supplied to the reaction device (1) and monomers (B) recovered from the reaction device (1) and resupplied, is at least 0.7 and D/A is at least 0.85.
