Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for producing a polyester polymer and a polyester yarn produced thereby, wherein the polyester polymer is produced by adding cyclohexanedimethanol in the range of 7.5 to 12.5 mol% with respect to the whole acid component, adding naphthalenedicarboxylic acid in the range of 3 to 7 mol% with respect to the whole acid component, and adding polyethylene glycol in the range of 2 to 5 wt% with respect to the whole polymer in the production of a polyester-based polymer produced by condensation polymerization of ethylene glycol and terephthalic acid. According to the present invention, it is possible to dye polyester at normal pressure while maintaining excellent thermal properties of general polyester. In addition, it is possible to produce polyester yarn that can be variously mixed with different kinds of fibers, prevent deterioration of the physical properties of fibers caused by normal pressure dyeing, and is excellent in various fastnesses.
