Title:
METHOD OF PRODUCING POLYMER BY NATIVE CHEMICAL LIGATION METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/035478
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a peptide-bond-containing polymer in high yield and in a short time. The method for producing a peptide-bond-containing polymer provided by the present invention comprises (A) a step in which a polymer fragment 1 having an unprotected cysteine residue and a polymer fragment 2 having both a protected cysteine residue and any desired activated amino acid residue are linked together by the NCL method to obtain a polymer fragment 1-2 having the protected cysteine residue and (B) a step in which a deprotection agent is added after the step (A) to obtain a polymer fragment 1-2 having unprotected cysteine residues, the step (A) and the step (B) being performed in a reaction system where a deactivator for the deprotection agent is present. Step (A), step (B), and step (C) can be repeated at least once.
