Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a method for producing quantum dots that are a crystalline nanoparticle phosphor, said method comprising using a first precursor solution and a second precursor solution, said precursor solutions respectively containing elements different from each other, and reacting the first precursor solution with the second precursor solution by spraying the second precursor solution as an aerosol to the heated first precursor solution, or by spraying both of the first precursor solution and the second precursor solution each as an aerosol to a heated solvent, to thereby synthesize core particles containing the elements different from each other. Thus, a method for producing quantum dots, by which, in large-scale synthesis, nonuniformity in particle size of quantum dots and enlargement of light emitting wavelength distribution due to the nonuniformity can be both suppressed, is provided.
