Abstract:
According to the present invention, a regenerated developing liquid is produced from a waste developing liquid for a water-developable flexographic printing original plate, the regenerated developing liquid having high performance in regard to a development speed and a problem of adhesion of aggregate to a surface of a printing plate. The present invention provides a method for producing a regenerated developing liquid from a waste developing liquid generated by the development of a water-developable flexographic printing original plate having a photosensitive resin layer formed from a photosensitive resin composition, the method comprising leaving the waste developing liquid in a tank without adding a coagulant to the waste developing liquid, allowing the photosensitive resin composition contained in the waste developing liquid to float and aggregate, discharging the floating aggregate from the tank, and obtaining the liquid remaining in the tank as the regenerated developing liquid, characterized in that the true density of the photosensitive resin composition before light curing is 0.91-0.97 g/cm3 and the photosensitive resin composition contains a water soluble compound in the ratio of 1.5% to 15% by mass.
