Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a resin utilizing radical polymerization, which enables the achievement of sufficient reproducibility of the molecular weight, while suppressing the amount of residual monomers.
In order to achieve the above-described purpose, the present invention provides a method for producing a resin, which comprises: addition of a radically polymerizable monomer and a thermal radical polymerization initiator into a reaction container; and polymerization of the radically polymerizable monomer at a temperature that is higher than the 10-hour half-life temperature of the thermal radical polymerization initiator by 20-70°C.
