Abstract:
The present disclosure includes a method for producing retinal tissue, the method comprising inducing differentiation of pluripotent stem cells to retinal tissue in a region A on a culture substrate, the culture substrate including on the surface thereof the region A, which has cell adhesiveness, and a region B, which is adjacent to at least a portion of the region A and has a lower cell adhesiveness than the region A. The present disclosure also includes a retinal tissue produced by the method, and a composition containing the retinal tissue.
