Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] In staking, only a desired portion is plastically deformed and the portions other than the desired portion are prevented from being deformed. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] An inner ring (3) is fitted on the one end side of an inner shaft (2) and fixed to the inner shaft (2) by staking. During the staking, the inner shaft (2) is supported by a staking receiving jig (U). A receiving section (12) to which the jig (U) is in contact is provided at a position near the one end side of the inner shaft (2), for example, at a position nearer to the inner ring (3) than a raceway section (2a) formed on the outer periphery on the other side of the inner shaft (2). As a result, a staking load acting from a staking jig (K) on the inner shaft plastically deforms only a desired portion.
