Abstract:
The main purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a selenol with high yield without causing the fluctuations in yield among production lots.
The purpose can be achieved by a method for producing a selenol, which comprises steps (1) and (2): (1) a step of reacting a Grignard reagent represented by general formula (1) with selenium to produce a reaction solution containing a selenomagnesium halide represented by general formula (2); and (2) a step of adding the reaction solution produced in step (1) mentioned above to an acidic solution dropwisely to produce a selenol represented by general formula (3).
