Abstract:
A method for producing a spectacle lens, wherein the spectacle lens has a water-repellent layer, the water-repellent layer is formed as a film by a thermal vapor deposition method, the film formation by the thermal vapor deposition method includes heating a plurality of vapor deposition sources at different respective temperature profiles, and among the plurality of vapor deposition sources, at least one of the vapor deposition sources includes a water-repellent component, and at least one of the vapor deposition sources includes a metal component.
