Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a method for producing a konjak glucomannan powder, whereby microorganisms such as spore fungi sticking to a konjak glucomannan powder can be easily and completely sterilized, and a sterile konjak glucomannan powder obtained by this method. The production method, whereby the aforesaid problem can be solved, is characterized by comprising adding an aqueous solution of a polar organic solvent to a konjak glucomannan powder and heating.
