Abstract:

The present invention relates to a Styrofoam-coupled functional brick and a method for producing same. The Styrofoam-coupled functional brick comprises: a lightweight block made of a Styrofoam material, having multiple through-holes which are formed through the front and the rear inside a polygonal shape and connection holes which are open in both opposite side directions with heights different from those of the through-holes, and having edges to which a plurality of reinforcing pins protruding forward and backward are connected; a heavyweight block made of a cement mortar material, molded and processed in a container shape surrounding the front and rear surfaces and both side surfaces of the lightweight block, having portions that are molded and processed in the shapes of the through-holes by filling of cement mortar in the through-holes in a molding and processing procedure, including a plurality of opening holes which are formed through the upper surface and the lower surface thereof, and including inlet holes which are formed through both opposite sides thereof while communicating with the connection holes; and a wire pipe inserted into and connected to the inlet holes and the connection holes. Accordingly, construction convenience can be improved, and various construction effects such as a thermokeeping or insulating function and a soundproof function can be expected.
