Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for producing a transition metal hydroxide. The method for producing a transition metal hydroxide comprises steps (1), (2), and (3): (1) step of obtaining a starting material slurry containing solid content that contains a transition metal hydroxide as a main component by bringing a solution containing a transition metal element into contact with alkali,
(2) step of obtaining a concentrated slurry by concentrating this starting material slurry by cross-flow filtration,
(3) step of obtaining the transition metal hydroxide by direct drying of this concentrated slurry.
