Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to produce trifluoroethylene with high selectivity and steadily by reacting 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane with a solid reactant with high efficiency while preventing the production of by-products such as a high-molecular-weight carbon compound.
A raw material gas containing 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane is allowed to flow in a layer comprising a particulate solid reactant having an average particle diameter of 1 to 5000 μm to bring the solid reactant into contact with the 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane while fluidizing the layer comprising the solid reactant.
