Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for producing a tris(perfluoroalkanesulfonyl)methide acid salt represented by the formula [1], which comprises a step (a) for obtaining a reaction mixture by reacting a methyl magnesium halide represented by the formula [2] with a perfluoroalkanesulfonyl fluoride represented by the formula [3], and a step (b) for directly reacting the thus-obtained reaction mixture with at least one compound selected from the group consisting of alkali metal halides, quaternary ammonium salts and quaternary phosphonium salts. This method enables to easily produce a desired methide acid salt with high yield.
