Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: an industrially advantageous method for producing a uracil compound, which is a production intermediate of a 2,6-dioxo-3,6-dihydropyrimidine compound; and a ureidomethylene compound to serve as a raw material of a uracil compound. The present invention is characterized by producing a uracil compound, which is a production intermediate of a 2,6-dioxo-3,6-dihydropyrimidine compound, by chemically reacting a compound represented by formula (II) or a salt thereof in the presence of an organic base or an inorganic base. In formula (II), X1 represents a hydrogen atom or a substituted or unsubstituted C1-6 alkyl group, X2 represents a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted linear C1-6 alkyl group, etc., R1 represents a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted C1-6 alkyl group, etc., R2 represents a hydrogen atom or a substituted or unsubstituted C1-6 alkyl group, and R3 represents a substituted or unsubstituted C1-6 alkyl group, etc.
