Abstract:
The present invention makes it possible to separate an ice slurry generation site from a usage site of the same, and to reduce the environmental load by using cold energy from a liquefied gas to generate the ice slurry at the generation site, and to inhibit the upsizing and complication of an apparatus that uses the ice slurry. This method for producing and using an ice slurry comprises: a generating step for cooling a brine B by means of heat exchange between the brine B and a liquefied natural gas LNG, which serves as the liquefied gas, and generating an ice slurry I; a transporting step for transporting the ice slurry I to a usage site of the ice slurry I; and a usage step for using the ice slurry I at the usage site.
