Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for the production of a ceramic fiber (22) with a metal coating (24) reinforcing fiber (20). According to the invention, the metal coating (24) is transferred to an external form which is polygonal in diameter enabling cavity-free bonding of adjacent reinforcing fibers (20) both next to and on top of each other. .
