Abstract:
A method for providing content by a display device is provided. The method may comprise the steps of: acquiring video content indicating a virtual space; acquiring first audio content corresponding to the video content; acquiring space information indicating a feature related to audio of a user space; converting the first audio content on the basis of metadata of the video content, metadata of the first audio content, and the space information so as to generate, according to the space information, second audio content corresponding to space-customized audio content obtained through conversion into a sound optimized for the user space; acquiring at least one of locations and specifications of one or more speakers connected to the display device; determining output configurations of the one or more speakers for the second audio content on the basis of at least one of locations of the one or more speakers and the specifications of the one or more speakers and the space information; and outputting the second audio content on the basis of the output configurations while the video content is displayed on a screen of the display device.
