Abstract:
A method for realizing the mobility of the network host and the multi-hometown function, includes: setting the host identifier for each network host of the mobile network; the network host and the communication opposite terminal create a couple of Internet Protocol Security Association, and bind the Security Association to the identifier of the network host and the communicating opposite side host; when the communication address of the network host is changed, it sends the address updated to the communication opposite side, and modifies owned Security Association address to the address updated; after receiving the address updated from the network host, the communication opposite side finds out the corresponding Security Association according to the host identifier of the network host, and modifies owned Security Association address to the address updated, and then the communication opposite side communicates with the network host using the Security Association with address updated. The invention could well support normal communication scene, such as mobility, host multi-hometown, site multi-hometown, network renumbering and so on.
