Abstract:
The invention relates to gravity-wave astronomy, in particular to recording low-frequency gravity waves. The essence of said invention lies in that a gravity constant is measured by means of a torsion balance comprising at least two beams provided with light loads which are arranged in such a way that said beams are mutually perpendicular during the simultaneous measurement of G, thereby making it possible to record the quadrupole character of a gravity waves influence and to continuously (discretely) measure the G values. Simultaneously, the variables of relative or absolute gravity values are continuously or discretely measured with the aid of a gravimeter, thereby making it possible to determine the gravity constant value G.
